What a Wonderful World

May 22, 2009

I believe there is somewhere and some place that everyone wishes to be at a certain point in their life. It’s a place that you would like to picture yourself in for a significant event. As for me, is having a honeymoon with my significant other in Riva del Garda, Italy. I have personally been there and their life is slow and comforting. Its community is a relatively small one. Cars are minimal. And believe me, the air is really refreshing(:

Gelato is my favourite desert in Italy. Imagine cold weather and a nice ice cream to satisfy your sweet cravings. Their range of flavors is definitely much wider than those in Singapore. Italy is a wonderful place to be in. Immerse yourself in culture and go for tours round the churches. I am personally an atheist but it’s interesting to get to know more about history of significant moments. And I secretly own a restaurant in ITALY(:

Season of Joy

May 14, 2009

I was backing up my desktop over the weekend and dismantling it so that I will have more space. The desktop has been collecting dust ever since the arrival of sweet MacBook. But I have yet found out how to install my PC games into my Mac, there is a way, just that I am too lazy.

Anyways, I was sieving through all the folders in my PC, then I came across a fairly “interesting” photo. Or at least to me it is. It is a picture of me conducting during the Christmas period last year.

That is probably five months back. Where I was still a Junior College student from AJC. It will be a long story if you are about to ask why I did not continue my studies as a year two but yet chose to join NP at FMS, DVFX.

Caroling is such a magnificent event. It is definitely an enjoyable  experience and a really good way to bring the mood of Christmas to people. Having conducted at Shangri-La Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Forum Shopping Mall, Bugis Junction, Four Seasons Hotel and Pan-Pacific Hotel, Pac-Pacific Hotel is the BEST!

I love caroling sessions where we really make people smile and feel really happy. Since it’s a season of joy, I sure want to see that smile on the choir members and as well as the audience. Back in Pan-Pacific Hotel, the response was great. The kids were prancing away,  people sang along, a little girl even stood beside me and danced.

I miss the conducting, I miss performing, I miss being in a choir.

Mas Selamat says, “I’m okay!”

May 14, 2009

In search for MAS SELAMAT and that “hoo-ha” is finally over!

We almost forgot about this guy here right? He sure made our police force real busy and got all the NS guys cursing, swearing because their “leaves” had to be cancelled to play “hide & seek” with him. Probably he secretly has GPS of Singapore so that’s why he knows how to get around Singapore so easily.
And my conclusion for Mas Selamat’s escape is… He is an avid fan of “Prison Break” which actually he “only” took a “Toilet Break”. I think a toilet is filled with a lot “wonders” which one can discover, just like how Mas found his “road to freedom” but it’s short-lived. You see right, a toilet can be of many uses.

1) Answering nature’s call
2) Smoking zone for non-smoking campus
3) Free accommodation for “two” (latex not included)
4) “Storeroom” (movies have shown, guns, drugs etc.)

Back to Mas Selamat. Why Singapore seldom show the much more handsome photoshopped version of him? Like this.

Okay apart from the forehead sticker, he is “hip”, Botak seems to be a nicer hairdo for him.

Nonetheless, he is certified free of “swine flu”. Please allow him into the LT.
